JAMMER GOES AT SBTV & GRM DAILY WITH #PLATFORMFORTHEYOUTH TWITTER RANT. GRM DAILY RESPONDS

Boy Better Know MC and producer Jammer recently accused heavyweight music platforms GRM Daily and SBTV of not doing enough for young artists. Jammer deleted his #PlatformForTheYouth hashtag rant but Posty, owner of GRM Daily, spotted the tweets and sent his reply on instagram. Catch the exchange below.

grmdailyAfternoon @jammerbbk. It would seem as though you woke up this morning believing you were the Jesus of Grime again, so let me address your points.
First of all, to keep a business going there's something called "income" that needs to be generated. This is the thing that pays staff, pays for the curation of content and helps to keep people interested in our music scene.
Your hashtag this morning is apparently#PlatformForTheYouth and we (appropriately) have around 10 staff members under the age of 25 that need to get paid working on the website, social media and all other aspects of the website. The same vehicle that supports you every time you release something new (for example that dodgy song you have been promoting on your Instagram over the last week). Secondly, not to mention the amount of jobs we have created; almost everyone’s cousin is a cameraman now.
Thirdly, most of the work we do is free. We invest most of our money back into our content; Daily Duppy, Dine Daily, shooting videos for people like you when you call etc.
Also, unless you became our accountant overnight, how would you know how much money anyone was really making and what "yards" got bought (because you have never been invited)? £100,000 from sponsorships and making money off YouTube videos? Do you even know what the CPM on YouTube is? You charged people £100 each to watch Lord Of The Mics (even Jay-Z doesn't charge that) and claim you used the money to pay the artists that worked, but when we use our money to invest in content and giving young people jobs and a platform we are wrong? 😕
I remember the time you danced around claiming you made £30,000 in ten minutes from selling your LOTM jackets… I never believed you but I thought it was cute.
If you are young, black and handsome and work in the music industry it's OK to work hard and not want to be broke, just to look good and get jumped on by Jammer. What's not OK, however, is being 40 and your biggest reload claiming you’re 30.
Last but not least, when we help people blow and they get signed, do shows and get hella bands, we’re still in the hood every day shooting videos and will continue to do so. Regards, Posty.

Jammer later said there's no issue and he'll mind his own business.
