Monday 21st November sees Grime-A-Side, the cypher tournament that has been pitting rival MCs from cities against each other in a bid to find the UK’s best grime squad, come to a climax in a heated final battle at London's Pro:Direct LDN 19 store.

Hosted by incubator of talent Red Bull Studios in London, the Grime-A-Side qualifiers and semi finals stages saw over 110,000 members of the public from around the UK cast their votes for their favourite squad.  In a series of online polls, Derby triumphed over Manchester in the semi finals, led by Team Captain and Man Of The Match, Eyez, while Kamakaze and his team also qualified for the prestigious live finals.

With the tournament getting recognition from the godfather of grime, Wiley, as well as leading artists such as Lady Leshurr and Toddla T, the stakes have been raised and the pressure if officially on. On Monday 21st November, the Derby andLeicester teams will decamp to Pro:Direct LDN 19 off Carnaby Street, bringing their A-Game lyrical prowess for the final round.

The winning team will be chosen through public live voting on the night via directly after the match – the public will be able to vote for one hour only.

The project follows on from the success of Red Bull Studios' Mind The Gap mixtape in May which saw Red Bull Studios team up with Eyez to find the best new grime talent from the Midlands and north of England.
